Feeding America West Michigan provides food to 492,100 people in need each year. To do that, they rely on thousands of volunteers, people just like you who have decided they want to take part in the effort to solve hunger in West Michigan and the Upper Peninsula. Kalamazoo Humane Society

St. Luke's Diaper Bank - Kalamazoo, Mi
This organization accepts donations of disposable diapers and baby wipes of any size, although the greatest need is for larger sizes of diapers (size 3 and up). They can/will accept opened packages of diapers.

In The Image
In the Image assists Greater Grand Rapids families in crisis affected by homelessness, job loss, fire, flood and domestic abuse. Items are free to the families to allow for set up of a safe home. In August, the In the Image provides brand new shoes to kids in Kent County area schools. With the closing of Payless Shoes and K-Mart, donated and discounted shoes will be at a shortage. Maybe you can provide some help:

Plaster Creek Stewards is a collaboration of Calvin University faculty, staff, and students working with local schools, churches, and community partners to restore the health and beauty of the watershed. We focus on research, education, and on-the-ground restoration (working directly to restore the watershed).
